The main focus of the research group „geriatics“ is related to health promotion, prevention, and multidimensional geriatrics assessment in older persons. Evaluation of self-administered instruments, prediction of adverse outcomes, and evaluation of interventions to prevent or delay functional status decline are key topics. In the context of the Robert Bosch Foundation Forschungskolleg Geriatrie there is also a collaboration with University Departments of Geriatrics in Germany.
