Cardiovascular Health

The Cardiovascular research group is concerned with the clinical epidemiology of various cardiovascular conditions. It has close links with the Division of Invasive Cardiology of the University Hospital Bern. Projects include comparisons of the safety and effectiveness of different types of stents for the treatment of coronary artery disease in network meta-analyses and several randomised trials and the evaluation of transcatheter aortic valve implantation.
